Scrap Happy!
It felt like I would never get to scrapbooking the arrival of our little Hudson! Somehow, however, I managed to squeeze in some much needed scrapping time and I'm almost up to date with all of his photos. For Landon I scrapbooked his first year of life in a special album that I plan on giving him as a keepsake when he is older. So of course I'm doing the same for this little monkey! Here are just a few of the pages I have done and some new ideas i've used.. they're not all totally done as I am going to add in his hospital card and bracelets too :) Yay for scrapbooking!

I'm going to be a mommy!
Well, if you haven't heard yet, now you know! I'm 24 weeks along in my pregnancy with our first bundle of joy. So far the pregnancy has gone pretty well. Luckily I did not have any morning sickness, instead of throwing up food, I inhaled it. You know how some preggos lose weight at the start of their pregnancy? I did the opposite and piled it on. Oh well, it's a healthy amount and if I didn't eat I would feel nauseous.
Jeff and I have decided to go with a midwife for several reasons and so far have had a great experience. I've had all of my blood work done and went in for the ultrasound at 19 weeks. We are so thankful that both the blood tests and ultrasound came out great! We got to see our little bean moving around and made us really think.. wow.. there's something alive in there! :)
So far the last 3 weeks have been the best weeks of the pregnancy. I have quite a bit more energy and I look pregnant. The only complaint I have is SLEEP! Or, lack thereof. I guess my hips have been swelling up like crazy and causing sciatica. Within 5 minutes of lying down on my side my hips fall asleep (like you sit too long cross legged), and then I usually wake up in the middle of the night with horrible pains in my hips, fun times! Thanks to Jeff's bright idea of icing them before bed I have minimized the pain and am sleeping a bit better.
The newest occurrence with the pregnancy is Braxton Hicks contractions. I had no idea that these could occur so early in the pregnancy, and thought it was common to get these when you were about 9 months. I guess not! They're just the tightening of my pelvic muscles and usually don't hurt. However, they have been hurting for me and usually take my breath away. I guess i'll be somewhat prepped for the real deal?
Anywho, that's all for now. Thanks for reading!
